Unblocking, jetting & CCTV surveys

Blocked drains & drainage in London

A blocked drain rarely clears itself, and overflowing waste is a health risk as well as a mess. Our drainage engineers arrive with jetting equipment and cameras so they can clear the blockage and see what caused it.

Drains from WeFix London

WeFix London clears blocked drains, sewers, toilets, sinks, baths, Saniflo units and gutters across London, 24 hours a day. Our drainage engineers use rods, high-pressure water jetting and CCTV cameras to find and fix the cause, and can provide survey reports. Daytime rates start at £170 per hour plus VAT.

Where a pipe is cracked, collapsed or full of roots, we show you the footage and explain the repair options. Reports are available for homebuyers and insurers.

How it works

What happens when you call

  1. Step 1: Call, chat or book online

A real person at our London call centre answers - day or night. Tell us what is wrong and when suits you.

  2. Step 2: Know who is coming

Before arrival we send your engineer's name, photo and van registration. Every engineer is DBS checked and carries photo ID.

  3. Step 3: Diagnosis and a clear price

Your engineer finds the cause and explains the options and cost before starting. Larger jobs get a written estimate.

  4. Step 4: Fixed, tidied, invoiced

Dust sheets and overshoes are used and rubbish removed. Your invoice itemises labour, times and materials. Work is guaranteed for 12 months.

FAQ

Drains: your questions answered

How much does a drainage engineer cost?

Our drainage engineer rate is £170 per hour from 7am to 7pm on weekdays, £200 from 7pm to midnight and £400 overnight, all plus VAT. There is a one-hour minimum, then billing in 15-minute increments. Larger jobs can be priced as a fixed estimate.

Who is responsible for a blocked drain?

Generally you are responsible for drains that serve only your property, within its boundary. Shared drains and lateral drains outside the boundary are usually the water company’s responsibility. Our engineer can confirm where the blockage is with a camera before you commit to any work.

What is a CCTV drain survey?

A small waterproof camera is pushed through the drain to record its condition. It shows blockages, cracks, root intrusion, displaced joints and collapses, so repairs are targeted. We can supply the footage and a written report, which is useful when buying a property or making an insurance claim.

How quickly can you get to me?

For emergencies we aim to have an engineer with you within one hour, 24 hours a day, often sooner. Non-urgent work is booked at a time that suits you. Every call is answered by our own staff at our London call centre, never an automated system.
