Privacy policy

This policy explains how WEFIX LONDON LIMITED (trading as WeFix London, company number 14625566, 15 Newport St, London SE11 6AJ) uses personal data. We are the data controller. Contact us about privacy at info@wefix.london or on 020 7889 1111.

What we collect

• Details you give us when you call, chat, message us on WhatsApp, or use our booking, estimate or contact forms: name, phone number, email, address and postcode, and a description of the work.
• Job records: what was done, when, by whom, materials used, invoices and payments. Card payments are processed by our card payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
• Technical data our hosting provider logs automatically when you visit (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running.

How we use it and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry, book and carry out work, send confirmations and invoices - necessary to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you.
• To keep accounting and tax records - a legal obligation.
• To check quality, handle complaints and guarantee claims, and keep our staff and customers safe - our legitimate interests.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the business and process data on our instructions: our website host, our email delivery provider (used to send booking confirmations), our live chat provider (Tawk.to - only if you start a chat), our card payment provider, and our accountants. Where these providers are outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don’t become a job are deleted within 24 months. Job records and invoices are kept for six years from the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for UK tax purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it to be transferred. Email info@wefix.london. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
